Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to optimize product assortment and maximize profitability.
- Design and implement visual merchandising standards and window displays that effectively communicate our brand identity and drive foot traffic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (buying, marketing, supply chain) to ensure timely stock replenishment and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust merchandising strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Manage seasonal budgets and forecast inventory needs accurately for upcoming campaigns.
- Train and mentor junior merchandising staff on best practices in product placement and sales techniques.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of stockrooms to ensure efficient operations and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in retail merchandise planning or visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and merchandising software (e.g., SAP, JDA, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to support peak retail periods.
