Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reservoir characterization and modeling using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, or similar).
- Analyze pressure data, production rates, and fluid properties to optimize well placement and completion strategies.
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize asset recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geophysicists, drilling engineers, and production operators to deliver integrated field development plans.
- Perform risk assessments and economic evaluations for drilling and production projects.
- Monitor field performance and provide technical guidance for troubleshooting and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Schlumberger Petrel, CMG, Eclipse).
- Strong understanding of PVT properties, reservoir drive mechanisms, and fluid flow dynamics.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
