Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Manage project lifecycles from conception through completion, ensuring compliance with TxDOT and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for complex civil engineering challenges
- Develop detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates using Auto Civil 3D and BIM technologies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Implement sustainable design practices and LEED certification requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT standards, FEMA floodplain regulations, and ADA compliance
- Strong background in transportation engineering, stormwater management, or geotechnical analysis
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
