Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle design of complex mechanical assemblies, ensuring optimal performance in high-stress environments.
  • Execute advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate structural and thermal integrity.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software teams to integrate mechatronic components into unified robotic platforms.
  • Manage the rapid prototyping phase, including 3D printing, CNC machining coordination, and hands-on assembly testing.
  • Establish rigorous testing protocols and documentation standards for product validation and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on manufacturing feasibility and DFM/DFA principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within aerospace, robotics, or energy sectors.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, including advanced surfacing and simulation modules.
  • Deep understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and precision machining tolerances.
  • Proven track record of taking at least three major hardware products from concept to mass production.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable executive insights.
