  • Well Performance Analysis: Analyze well test data and production history to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend interventions to enhance production rates.
  • Production Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve reservoir sweep efficiency and maximize ultimate recovery (EUR) from existing assets.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct rigorous economic and technical evaluations for new field development plans, including decline curve analysis and cash flow modeling.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Present technical findings, reservoir forecasts, and investment recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders with clarity and precision.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in unconventional reservoirs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar reservoir simulation software; strong knowledge of PVT properties, rock physics, and fluid dynamics.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a strong plus.
