Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to predict production behavior and optimize recovery factors.
- Conduct detailed reservoir characterization studies, integrating geological, petrophysical, and engineering data.
- Lead reservoir management strategies, including surveillance programs and production optimization plans.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, and geoscience teams to design and execute field development plans.
- Perform economic evaluations and assist in the decision-making process for field investments.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of reservoir dynamics, fluid properties, and recovery mechanisms.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
