Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize field development plans.
- Conduct detailed reservoir characterization studies, including geological and petrophysical integration.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, and facilities engineering teams to ensure seamless field operations.
- Analyze pressure transient data and well test results to update reservoir models and identify infill drilling opportunities.
- Lead technical meetings and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement strategies to maximize recovery factors and extend field life.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil & gas sector.
- Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., CMG, Eclipse, Petrel).
- Strong understanding of rock physics, fluid properties, and reservoir drive mechanisms.
- P.E. license or equivalent professional certification is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights.
