Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated reservoir simulation models to predict field behavior and optimize production rates.
  • Analyze geological and petrophysical data to design effective Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) strategies.
  • Collaborate with drilling, completions, and production teams to ensure alignment with reservoir management goals.
  • Conduct reservoir surveillance and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for increased recovery.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead technical studies to evaluate new drilling locations and reserve estimates.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Schlumberger Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data.
  • Experience with reservoir characterization, simulation, and forecasting.
  • P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
