Responsibilities
- Lead Reservoir Studies: Design and execute comprehensive reservoir characterization studies, including material balance and decline curve analysis.
- Simulation Modeling: Develop and calibrate numerical simulation models (e.g., CMG, Eclipse) to forecast production performance and optimize recovery factors.
- Field Optimization: Analyze well test data and production trends to identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and artificial lift optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with geophysicists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to integrate geological data with engineering constraints.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir management strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a focus on conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in reservoir simulation software (CMG, Eclipse) and petrophysical analysis tools (Petrel, Kingdom).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders clearly.
