Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy conversion platforms
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Conduct thermal and electromagnetic compatibility testing on power electronics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink
- Expertise in high-voltage DC/DC converters and three-phase inverters
- Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
- Experience with embedded C firmware for motor control systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
