Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and fluid flow modeling using industry-standard simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, tNavigator).
- Analyze well performance data and production trends to optimize recovery factors and develop robust field development plans.
- Collaborate closely with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams to integrate geological data into predictive reservoir models.
- Design and implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize economic value and extend field life.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, wellbore simulation studies, and investment memos for senior management.
- Monitor reservoir pressure, saturation, and fluid properties to ensure safe and efficient operational parameters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software and database management tools.
- Deep understanding of PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) relationships, reservoir geomechanics, and fluid dynamics.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
