Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir modeling and simulation projects for unconventional assets using advanced software (PETREL, Eclipse)
- Optimize production strategies through data-driven analysis and well performance monitoring
- Develop and implement drilling completion designs for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and IoT technologies into field operations
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex reservoir challenges
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production optimization
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (PETREL, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Proven track record of leading successful field development projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital oilfields (IoT, AI, automation)
