Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance
- Analyze well data and production trends to identify optimization opportunities
- Develop field development plans and economic evaluation models
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams on well design improvements
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Proven track record of optimizing field development plans
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs (shale, tight formations)
