Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced power distribution and control systems.
- Perform detailed load analysis, short-circuit studies, and arc flash assessments.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical projects, from concept to commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT sensors into power hardware.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review electrical schematics.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building codes for all installations.
- Optimize system performance through rigorous testing, simulation, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired.
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools.
- Deep understanding of PLC programming and industrial control networks.
- Proven track record of managing complex hardware design projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with external clients.
