Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets (shale gas, tight oil)
- Lead production optimization strategies using data analytics and machine learning
- Develop field development plans (FDPs) for greenfield and brownfield projects
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Interface with geoscience and drilling departments to align reservoir strategies
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong background in production data analytics and forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated experience mentoring technical teams
- Knowledge of emerging ESG compliance frameworks in upstream operations
