Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Conduct thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations using Ansys and COMSOL
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration for smart grid controls
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with IEEE/IEC standards
- Optimize power efficiency in industrial-scale battery management systems
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power systems experience
- Expertise in 3-phase power conversion and grid-tied inverters
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and control algorithms
- Certification in NFPA 70E or IEEE 1584 (arc flash analysis)
- Strong background in FPGA/ASIC design for power electronics applications
- Experience with SCADA systems and industrial IoT communication protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from prototype to production
- Prior work with UL 1741 certification processes
