Responsibilities
- Develop and validate complex reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Perform reservoir characterization studies, including PVT analysis, fluid flow, and geological integration.
- Lead field development planning (FDP) activities to maximize recovery from existing and new assets.
- Conduct reservoir surveillance and monitoring to detect changes in well performance and reservoir behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (drilling, production, geophysics) to ensure integrated asset management.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, memos, and presentations for executive leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques to extend field life and increase profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and sustainability goals.
