Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize production.
- Conduct comprehensive pressure transient analysis and material balance studies to identify recovery opportunities.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to design effective well placement strategies.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities through detailed economic and technical asset assessments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing regarding best practices in reservoir management.
- Prepare high-level technical presentations for executive leadership regarding field development capital allocation.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and safety standards are maintained across all reservoir engineering workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related Geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience within the Oil & Gas upstream sector.
- Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard simulation software such as Eclipse, tNavigator, or Petrel.
- Proven track record in unconventional or offshore reservoir performance optimization.
- Strong grasp of economic modeling, including NPV, IRR, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
