Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity reservoir simulation models to optimize production forecasts.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis (DCA) and material balance calculations for active assets.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to integrate geological and petrophysical data into reservoir strategies.
- Evaluate and prioritize drilling opportunities through rigorous economic analysis and risk assessment.
- Mentor junior engineers on advanced simulation techniques and reservoir management best practices.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure reservoir management plans are effectively implemented in the field.
- Present technical findings and development strategies to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream O&G sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Proven track record of successful reservoir management in offshore or unconventional environments.
- Strong understanding of fluid properties, PVT analysis, and rock mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is highly desirable.
