Responsibilities
- Conduct complex reservoir simulation studies to optimize recovery factors and production rates.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis and material balance calculations for unconventional assets.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of field development plans (FDP) and reserve assessments.
- Mentor junior engineers while ensuring technical quality control across subsurface workflows.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to integrate real-time data into reservoir models.
- Present technical findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with SEC and PRMS reporting standards for reserves.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of direct experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong background in unconventional resource assessment and economic modeling.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital project evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
