Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Optimize hydrocarbon recovery through enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and waterflood strategies
- Analyze well performance data and recommend production optimization initiatives
- Prepare detailed reservoir management plans and technical reports for stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional reservoir studies
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production forecasting
- Proficiency in reservoir characterization and geological modeling
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex subsurface data
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated experience with field development planning and economics
