Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept prototyping to production validation
- Develop innovative CAD models using SolidWorks and conduct FEA/CFD simulations
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain)
- Drive continuous improvement through DFM/A analysis and design reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and implement best practices
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Proven track record in manufacturing process optimization
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material science
- Experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
