Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for active assets.
- Perform high-fidelity reservoir simulation and history matching to predict production profiles.
- Conduct integrated production system analysis to identify and mitigate bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to optimize well placement and wellbore design.
- Prepare accurate reserve estimates and technical reports in accordance with SEC/SPE standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Analyze pressure, volume, and temperature (PVT) data to characterize fluid behavior.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or Kappa.
- Proven track record in unconventional or deepwater reservoir characterization.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
