Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis (DCA) and material balance calculations to optimize recovery factors.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to design effective well spacing and stimulation programs.
- Prepare detailed reserves reports in compliance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical rigor and safety.
- Conduct economic evaluations to support capital allocation and investment decisions.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to identify production bottlenecks and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in upstream reservoir engineering.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong background in unconventional resource development and hydraulic fracturing analysis.
- Proven ability to manage complex assets and influence multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to executive leadership.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a distinct advantage.
