Responsibilities
- Develop and execute reservoir management strategies to maximize recovery factors.
- Perform comprehensive pressure transient analysis (PTA) and reservoir simulation.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Prepare accurate production forecasts and reserve estimates for internal and regulatory reporting.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Conduct economic evaluations for new exploration and development projects.
- Monitor and analyze field performance data to identify opportunities for production enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, preferably within the US onshore sector.
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, tNavigator, or Petrel.
- Strong background in decline curve analysis and material balance methods.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.
