Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (ECLIPSE, CMG, or Eclipse).
- Analyze well test data and reservoir performance to optimize production and recovery factors.
- Develop and maintain reservoir models to support field development plans and capital investment decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geologists, drilling engineers, and operations staff.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Participate in the evaluation of new drilling locations and reservoir surveillance programs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir engineering principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) membership is highly desirable.
- Proficient in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG, tNavigator, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
