Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex reservoir simulation studies to predict production performance and optimize recovery factors.
  • Lead asset evaluation for new drilling opportunities and mature field revitalization projects.
  • Develop and maintain material balance models to monitor pressure depletion and fluid dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists and drilling engineers, to execute high-impact development plans.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and champion best-in-class technical standards within the department.
  • Perform reserves estimation and audit processes in compliance with SEC and PRMS standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and executive presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
  • Proven expertise in industry-standard software: Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or OFM.
  • Deep understanding of unconventional shale plays and waterflood management strategies.
  • Strong background in economic evaluation, risk analysis, and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
