Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Conduct comprehensive well performance analysis and optimization studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data.
- Prepare robust field development plans to enhance recovery factors and economic viability.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices in reservoir characterization.
- Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor reservoir pressure and fluid properties to ensure asset integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant upstream Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Expertise in industry-standard software suites like Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of reservoir fluid thermodynamics and rock properties.
- Proven track record of managing complex field development projects.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
