Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dynamic reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis (DCA) and material balance calculations for asset evaluation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists and petrophysicists to refine reservoir characterization.
- Analyze well performance data and recommend stimulation/intervention programs to enhance recovery.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports and capital budget justifications to senior executive stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers on reservoir management best practices and software proficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate pressure, volume, and temperature (PVT) data to optimize production profiles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software: Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of unconventional reservoir mechanics and horizontal well performance.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional technical projects from concept to execution.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex technical datasets.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
