Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Perform rigorous pressure transient analysis and material balance studies to optimize asset recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement robust field development plans.
- Lead economic evaluations of drilling programs and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Monitor and analyze real-time data to identify production anomalies and operational inefficiencies.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reservoir characterization and surveillance.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols in all reservoir engineering activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong background in unconventional resource development and performance prediction.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
