Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance
- Conduct economic analysis for field development plans and enhanced recovery projects
- Lead reservoir characterization studies integrating seismic, petrophysical, and well data
- Optimize well placement and hydraulic fracturing designs for maximum efficiency
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream Oil & Gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, or Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Deep understanding of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
