Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models for unconventional and conventional assets
- Lead production optimization strategies using advanced data analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on drilling and completion designs
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for field development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare technical reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI-driven reservoir characterization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/MSc preferred)
- 8+ years reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex field developments
- Knowledge of carbon capture and storage technologies is a plus
