Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using ECLIPSE and PETREL software
- Analyze well performance data to identify production optimization opportunities
- Lead field development planning and reserve estimation projects
- Collaborate with geologists and drilling engineers on integrated reservoir studies
- Develop well completion strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers on reservoir engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well test analysis, and production forecasting
- Proficiency with ECLIPSE, PETREL, and PIPESIM software
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Proven track record of leading successful field development projects
- Valid P.Eng. license or equivalent professional certification
