Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for active and appraisal assets.
- Perform high-fidelity reservoir simulation and history matching to forecast production performance.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to design optimized well placements.
- Conduct rigorous uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for project economics.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Provide technical support for regulatory filings and reserve reporting processes.
- Identify and implement innovative secondary recovery technologies to extend field life.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within an E&P setting.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel RE, Eclipse, or tNavigator.
- Strong understanding of fluid flow in porous media and PVT analysis.
- Proven track record of managing multi-well field development projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret complex seismic and petrophysical data sets.
