Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir simulation models using industry-standard tools (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to identify enhanced oil recovery opportunities
- Lead reservoir management strategies for unconventional assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on field development plans
- Present technical recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis software
- Strong understanding of Darcy's law and material balance principles
- Proven track record in field development planning
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with machine learning applications in reservoir engineering
