Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of long-term reservoir management and field development plans.
- Execute sophisticated numerical reservoir simulations to predict field performance and optimize production strategies.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis and material balance calculations for diverse reservoir types.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with drilling, completion, and geological teams to integrate subsurface data.
- Conduct thorough economic evaluations and risk assessments for new exploration and capital projects.
- Present high-level technical findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Proven expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, ECLIPSE, tNavigator, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of fluid flow in porous media, PVT analysis, and well testing interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex assets and lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and executive-level communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
