Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets using industry-standard software
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend field development strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data
- Develop economic models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast production profiles
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays (shale gas/oil)
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus) and data analytics tools
- Strong understanding of well completions, hydraulic fracturing, and production optimization
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and AI applications
