Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to forecast field performance.
- Analyze well test data, pressure transient analysis, and fluid properties to optimize recovery factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Drilling and Completions, to design and execute field development plans.
- Perform reserves estimation and economic evaluation in compliance with SEC standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical peer reviews for ongoing projects.
- Identify and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of production logging, nodal analysis, and geosciences integration.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary field development projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
