You will collaborate with cross-functional geological and drilling teams to drive operational excellence, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and fiscal performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity reservoir simulation models to forecast production and optimize recovery factors.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis and nodal analysis to evaluate well performance.
- Design and execute field development plans, including infill drilling and secondary recovery projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate petrophysical, geophysical, and production data.
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for new project acquisitions and capital investments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reservoir characterization.
- Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM).
- Proven track record in unconventional resource play evaluation.
- Strong understanding of fluid properties, rock mechanics, and production optimization techniques.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to stakeholders.
