Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed reservoir simulation studies to forecast production performance and optimize field recovery factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (geoscientists, drilling, production) to integrate geological data into reservoir models.
- Analyze well performance data and implement strategies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
- Prepare and present technical reports, memos, and investment cases to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot complex reservoir management issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in upstream oil & gas reservoir engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Strong background in PVT analysis, well testing, and reservoir characterization.
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) licensure is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
