Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize field development plans
- Analyze well data to identify production enhancement opportunities and recommend artificial lift solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reservoir characterization studies using seismic interpretation and petrophysical analysis
- Prepare technical reports and economic evaluations for new drilling locations and infill wells
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations (e.g., SPE, API) and corporate HSE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and lead reservoir management workshops for field operations teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Demonstrated expertise in production optimization and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Strong analytical skills with experience in well testing analysis and decline curve forecasting
- Valid P.E. license or eligibility to obtain in Texas
- Ability to travel internationally to field sites (approx. 10-15% of time)
