Responsibilities
- Lead the development, calibration, and history matching of complex reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., CMG, Eclipse).
- Analyze well performance data to identify optimization opportunities and decline curve trends.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to integrate geological data into reservoir models.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and risk assessments to support capital investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, ideally within the onshore unconventional sector.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (CMG, Eclipse, or similar) and database management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and physical models.
