Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to predict production behavior and optimize recovery factors.
- Analyze well test data and reservoir pressure information to identify development opportunities.
- Collaborate with drilling and facilities engineers to ensure well designs maximize reservoir contact.
- Prepare detailed reservoir engineering reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers within the team.
- Monitor production trends and troubleshoot underperforming wells using data analytics.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline (M.S. preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil & gas sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Eclipse, CMG, Petrel, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
