Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for civil engineering works
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FHWA, OSHA)
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Oversee construction phases with quality control and site supervision
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation within project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project delivery
- PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record with DOT and municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience leading complex projects with budgets exceeding $10M
