Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM modeling software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client communications while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and construction quality assurance
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and government agencies
- Develop sustainable design solutions meeting LEED and FEMA resilience standards
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and permitting submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with Texas PE license
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record leading projects >$10M in value
- Deep knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or LEED AP credential a plus
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and client management abilities
