Nexus Energy Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our high-performance asset development team in Houston. Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive reservoir simulation studies to predict performance and optimize field development plans.
- Perform detailed pressure transient analysis and rate transient analysis to characterize reservoir connectivity.
- Generate accurate production forecasts and reserve estimations in accordance with PRMS guidelines.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling teams to identify and de-risk high-value infill drilling opportunities.
- Conduct economic evaluations and sensitivity analyses for capital allocation and potential acquisitions.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, tNavigator, or CMG.
- Proven track record in unconventional play evaluation and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques.
- Strong understanding of economic modeling software like ARIES or Peep.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to executive stakeholders.
