Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and enhance recovery factors
- Lead field development plans incorporating advanced well placement and hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Prepare reserves reports compliant with SPE-PRMS and SEC guidelines
- Mentor junior engineers while fostering cross-functional collaboration with geoscience and drilling teams
- Conduct economic evaluations for capital projects and field expansion scenarios
- Drive digital initiatives integrating AI/ML for predictive reservoir analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS/MSc preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays (shale gas/oil)
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel, CMG IMEX/GEM)
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in production data analysis
- Expertise in reserves estimation and regulatory reporting standards
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary field development projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and data analytics platforms
