Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced drilling and production techniques to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Analyze reservoir data to develop and maintain accurate reservoir models.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and other engineers to integrate data and improve project outcomes.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel) and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record of successful project execution in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
