Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the mechanical design of complex automotive components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA analysis tools.
- Prototyping: Oversee the transition from 3D models to physical prototypes, including rapid prototyping and testing methodologies.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous stress tests and failure analysis to ensure product durability and safety compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to ISO, ASTM, and SAE international standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, or CATIA; knowledge of GD&T standards.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and material science.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to stakeholders.
