Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional and conventional assets
- Lead field development planning and production optimization strategies
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for capital projects
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- Integrate machine learning algorithms into reservoir forecasting workflows
- Develop well completion designs and hydraulic fracture optimization programs
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Strong knowledge of well testing and production analysis methodologies
- Proven track record in developing field development plans
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and AI integration
- Valid P.E. license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
